UCHRA Public Transportation Services can take you there! This service provides public transportation to rural residents of all ages, giving first priority to elderly, handicapped and economically disadvantaged with medical needs.

The Rural Commuter Van Pool Program provides 6 and 15 passenger vans for commuters for work and job-related training in all counties of the region in addition to being available for rent to the general public. Call (931) 528-1127 for details.

The Upper Cumberland Human Resource Agency aims to improve the quality of life to residents of the 14-county area. Our vision is to create a new direction to move people from dependence to independence. Our motto, “Delivering Hope” serves to remind us that everyone needs help-everyone can help.

Our mission is to promote a strong sense of community and family values by administering programs designed to provide tools, knowledge and resources to improve the quality of life, promote a positive sense of individual self-worth, encourage responsible decision making and provide opportunities for individuals to become productive and independent.

UCDD and UCHRA central and county offices will be

closed to the public effective Monday, Aug. 3.

During this time, we will continue to provide services

to clients during regular operating hours

by appointment and via telephone and email.

Upper Cumberland Human Resource Agency is a Partner Agency of Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee. Second Harvest is a private, not-for- profit, tax exempt organization with a mission to feed hungry people and work to solve hunger issues in our community. Second Harvest works with a network of approximately 500 Partner Agencies like Upper Cumberland Human Resource Agency to distribute food to those in need throughout 46 counties in Middle and West Tennessee.
